Federal Survey Data
Source Description and Coverage:
Describes how data is collected and the sample representation
The survey is conducted by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) and examines the arrangements of children who receive care from persons other than their parents, regardless of parental activities while in care or educational settings. The two primary, repeating early childhood surveys are the School Readiness (SR-NHES) and Early Childhood Program Participation (ECPP-NHES or ECE-NHES) surveys.
